How Do I know if you are any good?!

Please see the about page and my testimonials page, also you might want to have a look at the video to get an example of the type of things Matt does. Matt has entertained at thousands of weddings, parties and corporate events and has worked for companies such as coca cola and Disney and has bamboozled celebrities and people from all walks of life.

 

How long should I book you for?

Generally speaking two hours is sufficient, within two hours up to one hundred guests can comfortably see a decent amount of magic. For a smaller party one hour maybe enough, or for a larger event you might consider hiring an extra magician, which Matt can arrange for you. (Who has been personally vetted)

 

When Should I book you?

For a wedding there's a only really a few options that really work best, firstly after the ceremony during the reception and photographs is a great way for Matt to mingle with your guests performing close up magic, around the tables performing table magic during the wedding breakfast or performing his mind reading cabaret show after the wedding breakfast or during the evening function.

 

Can I book you to do close up magic/table magic for the evening function?

You can, however firstly let me explain why generally this is not a good idea, the music, or live band is extremely loud hindering my performance, if people can't hear me properly or can't see me properly due to the dim lighting it won't have the same magical effect. There are ways around this - for example setting up another room or having me perform early on in the evening function.

 

Do you do children's birthday parties or children's entertainment?

Unfortunately not, however, if you are looking for someone to entertain the children at the wedding alongside me, I can arrange for a children's entertainer to attend also. Contact me to get a quote. Even though I don't perform Children's Parties, children will absolutely love Matt's close up magic, in fact most children think they are too old for clowns and 'kids magic'.

 

How much do you charge?

The fee will depend mainly on the length of performance required and whether you require the cabaret show with the close up magic as well. There are no hidden costs with the fee, the fee you are quoted is the final price. Matt's rates are pretty much the same all over the U. K, so it might be worth hiring Matt rather than someone local. You may find cheaper wedding magicians, but they more than likely won't have the professionalism or the skills to make sure this is one wedding to remember.

 

What if you can't make it?

If Matt is booked already to perform on the date you enquire about, Matt can recommend some great magicians, that he has worked with on regular basis at various events who Matt unreservedly recommends... If you do book Matt, and in the rarest circumstance that Matt is unable to perform he will send a cover magician, who again will be just as good as Matt at no extra cost to you.

 

Are you insured?

As a member of Equity Matt has £10 million pounds of public liability insurance. So you have nothing to worry about!
